Based on Harry Allard’s beloved books Miss Nelson is Missing and Miss Nelson is Back, this adaptation by Joan Cushing (who also penned last season’s Junie B. Jones) is just about as fun as a snow day!

Brrrrrrr! It seems just another frigid Scandinavian day when Kai disappears with the cold-hearted Snow Queen. Luckily, his best friend Gerda is willing to risk everything to save him! Join Gerda on her journey through this Hans Christian Andersen classic as she tests the power of friendship in the face of great obstacles. Penned by CCT Artistic Director, Jerry Stevenson (who also wrote 2005’s Puss in Boots) this classic fairy tale comes to life with just a twist of that special Columbia Children’s Theatre style!

Beware The Hare! Is he a vampire? Is he a bunny? Or is he BOTH! Before it’s too late, Harold the Dog and Chester the Cat must find out what’s up with the new pet in the Monroe household—a suspicious-looking bunny, with unusual habits…and fangs! Told in the style of old black and white movies from the 1940’s this musical-melodrama will delight audiences of all ages! Move over Dracula, there’s a new Bunny in town!

This fanciful CCT production will have you rolling in the floor and maybe, just maybe help everyone learn how to deal with … those very bad days!
